Christmas came early for a Hillsborough County fire station thanks to a resident with a really big heart.
Kyle Pukylo delivered a handwritten Christmas card to the fire station and inside was a $100 gift card to Publix. Firefighter Tempa Tingler was stunned.
"It was such a wonderful surprise. I love hearing these stories all the time on Facebook or whatever, but to actually have it happen to us was awesome," said Tingler.
Pukylo said it's all about paying it forward.
"Truthfully, they have to most selfless jobs sacrificing the biggest thing in the world, their lives every day, for me, for people like me and you. So, they're the station closest to my house and it's what I did," he said.
