There's life again at a famous Hernando County spot that has been closed for years.

Things have changed at Rogers Christmas House Village in downtown Brooksville. It's not going to be exactly like it was because a new chapter has started.

The Tilted Teacup Tea Room and Boutique is all moved in and open for business.

Rogers Christmas House Village has been empty for four years but now the main house up front is buzzing with activity.

Aimee Gans and her husband own the tea room. She says breathing new life into the well-known spot feels good.

"Everyone that is coming in, I think for them it is bringing back their childhood memories but in a different way," she said.

A couple from Tampa purchased the property last summer. They say next the plan is to bring back some of the old, and put in a Christmas store. They hope to have the store up and running by Christmas 2015.
