Police are investigating a triple homicide that happened overnight in Tampa. Officers said Angel Luis Perez, 22, got into a fight with family members about his 3-year-old nephew.

According to the report, Perez broke into a home on 54th Street North after 1 a.m. and killed two people inside. Police identified the victims as 25-year-old George Gort, Perez's brother-in-law, and 23-year-old Brittany Snyder.

Once outside, investigators said Perez got into a fight with his girlfriend, Olivia Miller, 22, and shot her as well. Perez drove Miller to Tampa General Hospital, where she died.

Officers arrested Perez at the hospital.

This is the second triple murder in the Bay area in the last several days. On Thursday, a gunman in Bradenton killed three people. That suspect was arrested on Saturday.
