The bodies of two women were found early Monday after firefighters responded to a blaze at their Hudson home.

Officials said Jessica Keith and Amber Lynn Jordan, both 24, were found dead in a fire at their home on Pine Street in Hudson.

Firefighters responded to the call about the fire just after 7 a.m. Neighbor Jamie Robbins said her son heard the women cry for help.

"My son was yelling that someone was yelling help, help, help!" she said. "I went outside, didn't see anything.  Came back inside, heard 'Help!' again and the house was just up in flames."

Robbins said she got her husband and they ran over to help, but it was too late.

"I ran inside to get my husband and came outside and tried running over there but it was too late," Robbins said. "The house was already in flames and the two girls inside were already gone."

Neighbor Joshua Smith saw the fire, too. He said he ran up to the back door and found one of the women lying halfway outside, engulfed in flames. Smith said he tried to pull her out, but it was too late.

Later, firefighters bandaged Smith's hand, which was burned during his rescue efforts.

Investigators spent the rest of the day combing over the scene, taking photos and marking evidence with numbers.

At one point, a Pasco Sheriff's Office tow truck came and took away the car in the garage.

The fire is under investigation. A cause has not yet been released, but officials said there is a possibility a criminal act has occurred.

Investigators said the women had moved into the house about a month earlier.
