Hillsborough County deputies are looking for a race horse thief.

The race horse “Six of Diamonds” was stolen sometime between the night of April 11 and morning of April 12 from a stable on Innfields Drive in Odessa.

The horse is a 2-year-old Quarter horse, grey in color, with a white stripe going down the front of its face. The horse is valued at $15,000. 

Deputies said the unknown suspect or suspects removed the horse, which was behind a closed gate, by using the halter that was hanging on the wall next to the horse's stable and walking the horse out. 

The theft was discovered by one of the trainers. The owner of the horse lives in Indiana.
