The Belleair Bluffs City Commission has voted to endorse Greenlight Pinellas.
This week, city commissioners voted to support the plan. If voters approve it, a 1 percent sales tax would fund the development of a light-rail system between Clearwater and St. Petersburg, as well as the expansion of bus services.
The referendum will be on the November ballot.
