A new apartment building is coming to downtown St. Petersburg.
According to our partner paper the Tampa Bay Times, the property called “Hermitage" will open by the end of next year.
It's planned for 700 First Avenue South. The building will be the size of a city block.
It would feature 348 one and two bedroom apartments.
Construction could start this July.
The development sits within a block or two of Tropicana Field and an old YWCA converted last year into Rococo Steak, an upscale restaurant.
