Thousands of Manatee County spent their Good Friday at the annual Desoto Children’s parade.
The event was held in Palmetto this morning.
The parade featured multiple schools, dance and cheer teams as well as police, city leaders, and our very own Manatee County reporter, Summer Smith, hosted the parade.
The Hernando Desoto Historical Society puts on the annual parade to raise money for local charities.
