The Sunshine State has been the cloudy state for the past couple of days, but that's about to change.

After another gray morning today for Easter, at least some blue sky will return over west-central Florida this afternoon, and the next several days look even better.

"High pressure will move in as the low pressure pulls away, and we'll have typical April weather for the next couple of days," Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker said. "We'll get another day or two of temperatures a little below average, but by, say, Tuesday, and through the rest of the week, we'll have temperatures getting up to around 80 or warmer."

The highs today will range from the low to mid 70s near the Gulf of Mexico to the mid to upper 70s inland. There's no rain in the forecast for today or on any day in the coming week.
