Two men who were shot and killed at Alfred Al Barnes, Jr. Park in Tampa on Easter Sunday have been identified.

Police said the park, located at 2902 32nd Street N was full of people enjoying the holiday when a fight broke out between two groups of people and multiple shots were fired. Nico Crawford, 22 and 17-year-old Zedmon Colepepper were killed in the shooting.

"We heard bang bang bang," said Debra Brown. "We knew it was a gun because we didn't have any firecrackers out here. There were four to five people on the ground shot in front of all these children."

A man and a woman were also critically injured and transported to Tampa General Hospital, however officials have not released their information. Officials said they are stable.

"Don't bring a gun to the park on Easter Sunday, we're supposed to be celebrating the ressurrection of Christ, and this garbage happens," said Tampa Police Department Lt. Ronald McMullen.

Police are looking for the shooter but they aren't releasing a description. They say this was not a random crime and all of the victims are in their late teens to early 20s.

"It was parents trying to get out of the way, parents trying to sheild their kids because we don't know where these bullets are coming from, they're just ringing out," said witness Debra Brown. "The kids had just sat down, there was some plates they didn't even have a chance to bite their hamburger, bite their hotdog."

Brown said she is going home without finishing what she came to do: giving candy donations to kids. It was another result of violence she says is far too common.

"You can't go nowhere, when is it going to stop? Every week we burying somebody," said Brown.
