The continuing clouds that have dominated the Bay area skies for much of the past few days are expected to lessen by Monday afternoon.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, high temperatures were only in the low 70s during the weekend.

"There are plenty of clouds to start the day," Marquez said. "But decreasing clouds are expected this afternoon."

Temperatures will rise into the mid-to-upper 70s today as the mostly cloudy skies begin to clear.

Conditions will remain dry for the next few days as skies continue to clear and warmer temperatures return.
