Another contributing factor, they say, is that insurance companies are expanding diabetes coverage.

Adderall for studying has risk

Many college students are using a prescription drug to get ahead. But researchers say they don't realize how dangerous that could be.

A national survey found that full-time students are twice as likely to take Adderall than part-time students. Some students say it makes them more productive in class.

However, the Drug Enforcement Administration lists Adderall as a Schedule II drug, meaning, among other things, it has a high potential for abuse.

Moving to a new area can be emotionally tough on children.

Health experts say it's a good idea for parents to talk about the up-and-coming transition to relieve stress.

Parents can also brainstorm with their children on ways to make the new environment fun. This can include redecorating their rooms and meeting new teachers before attending classes.
