Freedom High School and Liberty Middle School in New Tampa were placed on lockdown for about an hour Tuesday morning after police received a bomb threat related to the high school, authorities said.
The threat was determined to be a hoax some time before 10:30 a.m., police said.
Both schools resumed their normal schedules.
