A Manatee County Sheriff's deputy on the way to help a co-worker escaped injury Tuesday in a traffic crash.
According to authorities, the crash happened just before 5 p.m. on 23rd Avenue West at 9th Street in Bradenton.
The deputy was responding to a call for help from another deputy dealing with a combative person at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
There were no serious injuries reported in the crash.
