The woman found dead Tuesday in a Palmetto neighborhood has been identified by authorities.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, 62-year-old Carolyn West of Palmetto was found dead by two people walking in the 5800 block of U.S. 41 North.
The body was beneath an overpass of railroad tracks.
The results of an autopsy stated West suffered injuries consistent with a fall.
Officials said at this time, no foul play is suspected.
