Police spent a portion of the night on Thursday redirecting traffic in Winter Haven due to a fire at a tire store.

The fire was at McGee Auto Service and Tire, which is located at 803 3rd Street SW in Winter Haven.

Police redirected traffic around the intersection of U.S. 17 and Cypress Gardens Boulevard for around three hours. The fire was under control around 4:05 p.m., officials said.

According to the Winter Haven Fire Department, crews responded to the fire at around 2:48 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered a metal building that was used to store tires was on fire.

Winter Haven Fire investigators said the cause of the blaze to be unintentional.

There were no reported injuries.
