The founder of Cigar City Brewing in Tampa said he may move his business to another state.
According to our partners at the Tampa Bay Times, Joey Redner said he may move the brewery to another state if new legislation affecting craft brewers passes.
Redner said that even if it does not pass, he is worried the issue could come up again, putting expansion plans at risk.
Lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban breweries from selling their product directly to the public if they sell more than 2,000 kegs of beer a year.
Instead they would have to work through a distributor and buy their own product back at a higher price in order to sell it.
