A man driving a sports utility vehicle drove right through the front doors of a gas station on Sunday evening, and according to the Florida Highway Patrol, he was under the influence of alcohol.

According to reports, 57-year-old Peter Seifert, of New Port Richey, drove a white Jeep Cherokee halfway into a Marathon Gas Station located at 8549 Old State Road 54 in New Port Richey.

Troopers said Seifert failed a sobriety test and marijuana was also found the car.

Seifert was transported to the Pasco County Jail and charged with driving under the influence, property damage, driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana, and careless driving.

No one was injured in the crash
