Three Clearwater police officers are being reprimanded for their actions during a DUI stop earlier this year.

According to our partners at the Tampa Bay Times, Clearwater police officer Nicholas Capogna was pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving.

However, instead of conducting a sobriety test or arresting him, the two police sergeants who pulled him over instead gave him a ride home.

Now Sgt. David Young and Sgt. Sean Allaster will each receive a one-day suspension. Officer Capogna will be suspended for five days.
