The Department of Health in Hernando County is temporarily closing its Brooksville office for renovations.

The facility has been in use for 21 years, and officials said it is due for some upgrades.

Crews will start renovating the building on May 27. The office is expected to reopen on July 8.

Residents in need of service can visit the Spring Hill office located at 7551 Forest Oaks Blvd.

The Brooksville office is located at 300 S. Main Street. Once it reopens it will provide services Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
