The man arrested over the weekend for the grisly murders of two Pasco County men had been out of prison for just hours.

Christopher Lamarr Amy, 42, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Raymond Rossi, 56, and Jason Allan Heintz, 39.

The men were killed early Saturday at a mobile home park in Holiday. Rossi and Heintz were found in the mobile home dead after neighbors reported a loud fight.

Pasco County Sheriff's investigators said Amy may have become upset with Rossi and Heitz about how they stored some of his belongings while he was in prison, including his parents' ashes.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Amy was released from a Georgia prison on Friday. He served nine months on drug charges. After getting a ride back to the Bay area, Amy got in an argument with the men and killed them with a buck knife.

In Amy's booking report, a man only called "James" said he dropped Amy off at the mobile home park Friday. Hours later, Amy showed up at James' home wearing only boxer shorts that were covered in blood.

Detectives said the murder weapon was stolen and was was found inside the mobile home.

Amy was spotted Saturday about two miles from the murder scene.  He was walking along the side of the road when deputies arrested him.
