A Crystal River man was killed Tuesday night when he was involved in a crash while riding his motorcycle.
The crash happened at 10:15 p.m. on North Citrus Avenue near the intersection of West Hawthorne Street in Crystal River.
Warren Wolfe, 54, was riding his 2001 Harley-Davidson north on North Citrus Avenue when a 2004 Ford Explorer traveling in the same direction slowed to make a left turn onto West Hawthorne Street.
Investigators said Wolfe entered the southbound lane of North Citrus Avenue to pass the Ford Explorer, but the driver of the SUV didn't see him and made a left turn right into Wolfe's path.
Wolfe's motorcycle collided with the left side of the SUV, and Wolfe was ejected.
Wolfe died from his injuries at the scene of the crash.
