A Lakeland man is facing charges after Hillsborough detectives said he brought a 12-year-old girl with him to a drug deal.
Denard D. Walker, 36, was arrested Thursday after the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office conducted a buy-bust operation for a trafficking amount of MDMA, officials said.
The three-month investigation ended with Walker's arrest on charges of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a convenience store and child neglect.
Investigators said Walker brought a 12-year-old girl with him to one of the transactions.
Officials did not release Walker's relationship to the girl.
