An Oldsmar-based engineering company that makes industrial water equipment is expanding into Pinellas Park with a major manufacturing facility.

Hydro-Dyne Engineering recently closed on the purchase of a $107,500-square-foot facility, which is nearly five times larger than its current plant.

The firm said the move will allow for an unspecified number of new hires in engineering, production and sales at its new headquarters.

Hydro-Dyne builds screening and grit-removal equipment for municipal and industrial water facilities.
