Potentially dangerous material found at old plant

State inspectors are looking into some potentially dangerous material at an abandoned bio-diesel plant.

According to The Ledger of Lakeland, a Department of Environmental Protection investigator recently came upon a pipe caked with a white solid material that was later found to be hazardous.

It's at the Lakeland Industrial Park on George Jenkins Boulevard. The DEP says the owner of that industrial park is responsible for cleaning up the mess.
