Work is finally underway to deal with a sinkhole that has swallowed a Spring Hill driveway during the past two days.
This is good news for Linda Fisher who owns the house that's affected the most.
The hole opened up Saturday at a home at Eldridge Road and Van Allen Way, around 5:20 p.m.
Crews testing the area Monday determined the hole has not grown. The hole is about 40 feet wide and 30 feet deep, according to officials.
A geo-technical consultant will be on site Tuesday to conduct a further investigation. Of the four homes evacuated, the residents of three of them were later permitted to return to their homes.
Fisher was out of town when the sinkhole opened up.
"My daughter called me late at night, ‘quick run turn on the news.’ I did. I go, oh gee it had to be my house," she said.
Neighbors are helping her pack everything up. Fisher just moved into the house a year and a half ago to be close to her family. Now it's unsafe and she's going to find another place to live for now.
"You do what you have to do. You can't sit around and cry. That doesn't change anything. I can't fix it,” she said. "So, I have to find housing, get everything in storage and keep going."
Fisher said she's not sure if she will be able to move back into her house. The road will be closed until further notice.
