Deputies said they have recovered a custom motorcycle that was stolen from a disabled veteran of the Iraq War.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the custom 2005 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle, which belongs to 27-year-old Paul Rivera, was stolen from the parking lot of the River View Apartments on June 18.

On Thursday, a detective spotted the stolen motorcycle being driven near Falkenburg Road and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and called for assistance.

The detective followed the motorcycle to a home in the 9500 block of Six Mile Creek Road.  Deputies and a K-9 unit quickly surrounded the home and moved in.

Deputies said two people came out of the home. One of those people, Nathan Bowyer, was seen riding the stolen motorcycle, deputies said.

Deputies then searched the house and found drugs, three weapons and more than $20,000 in cash inside the house.

Bowyer, 24, was arrested on charges of grand theft of a motorcycle, petty theft, violating probation, trafficking in stolen property and delivery of a controlled substance.

The other suspect, Cindy Dormany, 36, is facing charges of armed trafficking of methamphetamines, possession of Xanax, hydrocodone, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects were taken to Hillsborough County Jail.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies plan to return the stolen motorcycle to Rivera Friday afternoon.
