Bay area skies will stay mostly sunny Tuesday as conditions remain dry.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker, there may be a stray shower or two around the area today but most of the area will remain dry with plenty of heat and humidity.

"The possibilities of rain are low today," Linker said. "But it will be very humid. We have dry air in the middle part of the atmosphere, limiting the chances of showers and thunderstorms."

Rain chances are 10 percent Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, afternoon high temperatures will approach 92 degrees.

Those rain chances will inch higher later in the week.
