Polk County voters who plan to vote in next Tuesday's primary election have through Wednesday to submit a request for a ballot to be mailed.
Requests for absentee ballots can be made by calling the Elections Office at 863-534-5888 or visiting PolkElections.com. Absentee ballots may be returned by mail or dropped off at Elections Headquarters until 7 p.m. on Election Day.
