The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a car accident involving one of their deputies and several teens.
According to deputies, the accident happened overnight on Recker Highway and Avenue G in Winter Haven.
Officials said there were five teens inside an SUV when it somehow collided with the deputy's cruiser.
One of the teen's parents said one of the teens is seriously injured.
The others involved are OK.
The sheriff's office said they are very early in their investigation.
