The Hernando County Sheriff's Office has a new deputy.
A 14-month-old German Shepherd named Justice has joined the agency's K-9 unit. He'll team up with Corp. Stephen Miller, the K-9 unit's supervisor.
Miller is retiring his current partner, Kilo, who has been working with the department for the last eight years.
Justice will start an 18-week K-9 patrol school at the Clearwater Police Department starting Oct. 13.
