Tampa police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspected bank robber.

Police said the man robbed the Fifth Third Bank on Hillsborough Avenue at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday.

The man was last seen heading south on foot from the bank.

Police describe the suspect as a black man between the ages of 35 and 45, wearing a knit cap, a khaki bluish-green oversized shirt, black pants that are too short, green latex gloves, brown boots and goggles.
