Hernando County pedestrians and cyclists will eventually have safer routes through Spring Hill and Hernando Beach.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the Hernando County Commission approved agreements with the Florida Department of Transportation that will translate into more than $1 million to help pay for the coast of three sidewalk and bike trails.
The projects are at Kass Circle and Spring Hill and along Osowaw and Shoal Lane boulevards in Holmes Beach.
