A Hillsborough County bank robbery suspect was arrested after being spotted on the sheriff's Facebook page.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Todd Michael Vincent, 47, has been arrested and charged in Thursday's robbery of the BB&T Bank located at 1707 Parsons Ave in Brandon.

The armed suspect entered the bank just after 9:30 a.m., demanded cash and then ran out on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

An alert of the suspect was posted to the sheriff's office Facebook page and a witness came forward identifying Vincent. After receiving the tip, detectives set up surveillance at Vincent's Country Club Drive home in Tampa.

Vincent's vehicle was spotted a few blocks away and he was brought into custody after a short foot chase, officials said.

Vincent, who also is suspected in robberies at Bank of America and US Ameribank branches, had a large amount a cash on him, officials said.

He has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and strong armed robbery.
