A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of a Gibsonton father of six whose body was found in shallow grave in Ruskin.

The body of Octavio Reyes, 36, was discovered in a wooded area off U.S. 41 near the Little Manatee River on Saturday.

On Tuesday, homicide detectives arrested a 17 year old who faces charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The teen is currently being held in the Hillsborough County Jail without bond on an unrelated violation of probation charges.

On Sunday, Javier Bermudez Jr., 20, was arrested on the same charges.

Bay News 9 is not naming the teenage suspect in accordance with our crime guidelines because he is a minor.
