A small plane that left Lakeland bound for Indiana crashed in a field off Country Club Drive in Homosassa on Sunday. The pilot and co-pilot, both from Indiana, walked away with no injuries, according to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened around noon. An investigation is underway.
