Voters in Citrus County will decide on a sales tax referendum this November.

The Cent for Citrus referendum is a proposed 1 percent sales tax increase which supporters say would provide funding for the resurfacing and maintenance of all county-maintained, paved residential roads.

County officials have set up a section of the county's website designed to answer all of voters' questions before they head to the polls.

The site contains a sample ballot, a frequently asked questions section and an explanation of gas taxes.

The county has also scheduled town hall meetings between now and Nov. 4 to give voters the opportunity to ask questions in person. The dates and locations of each town hall meeting can be found on the website.
