A Bartow woman died Thursday, three days after she and her daughter were critically injured in a crash.
Jessica Macedo, 23, and her 5-year-old daughter were involved in a crash at the intersection of Eagle Lake Road and Ernest Smith Boulevard on Monday morning.
Investigators said Macedo's 2006 Ford Explorer collided with a northbound 2013 Toyota Corolla at the intersection.
Macedo and her daughter were taken to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries. Police said the little girl remains in critical condition
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. No charges have been filed at this time.
