A 10-year-old boy missing since Thursday afternoonwas found safe Friday morning, according to Tampa police.

Paul Ezekiel Fagan had not been seen since Thursday afternoon when he was in his grandmother's yard at 7602 Sharon Drive.

Police said the boy, known as Zeke, was seen coming out of some bushes not far from his grandmother's residence just before 7 a.m. Friday It is unclear exactly where he was all night.

"We're still talking to him right now," said Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Col. Donna Lusczynski, moments after the boy was found Friday morning. "He came out of the bushes of an abandoned house next door where it appears he stayed out in the environment all night."

The boy's grandmother called authorities Thursday at 8 p.m. after an unsuccessful neighborhood search.

Authorities conducted a search overnight.
