Clearwater Police and volunteers from the agency were at Westfield Countryside Mall on Sunday collecting old or unwanted prescription medication.
The event went until 2 p.m. in the parking lot between L.A. Fitness and JCPenney.
Clearwater is one of several agencies across Pinellas County, and thousands across the nation, participating in the event.
Police said they collected 352 pounds of medication during the four hour period.
