Governor Rick Scott made a few campaign stops in the Bay area on Saturday to knock on doors and thank his supporters.

Stopping in at a campaign office in Tampa, the governor was greeted by volunteers who have been busy making calls on his behalf.

With a little more than a month to go before the November election, Gov. Scott said his supporters have called two million homes state-wide.

During his stop today he talked about the importance of support in Bay area.

"It's very important," said Scott. "One, it's a beautiful place to live. Hard working people, we have a lot of support here. We're going to make sure everybody gets out to vote and they know the difference."

Scott said he also planned to knock on doors in Carrollwood, and stopped by a rally at a restaurant in Land O' Lakes.
