A central Florida woman has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for her part in a fatal robbery.

A Polk County judge sentenced 27-year-old Jenny Holmes on Wednesday. She pleaded no contest in February to armed burglary with an assault or battery, attempted robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Authorities say Holmes drove 33-year-old Christopher Batchelor and 46-year-old John Barrett to Homero Arteaga's Haines City home in August 2012.

Officials say Batchelor and Barrett were searching the home for drugs and money when Arteaga woke up. The intruders then beat Arteaga to death with a tire iron. Barrett was sentenced to 30 years for manslaughter, and Batchelor received a life sentence for first-degree murder.
