You may notice some signs around your child's school as you drop them off in the mornings.

They read ‘stop for stopped school bus.’

Officials with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office say they’ve received complaints of drivers still not slowing down when driving through school zones.

Drivers caught speeding could face fines from $156 to $456. Drivers will be cited for a mandatory court appearance if caught going more than 30 mph over the posted speed limit in a school zone.
