The south span of the Skyway Fishing Pier State Park will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday for road work.
All anglers and vehicles will be required to leave the south pier, and vehicles will not be allowed to enter the south span during the road work, which is being conducted by the Florida Department of Transportation.
The northern span of the pier will remain open.
