Bay area residents will see another nice day today with above normal temperatures.

But according to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, a cold front is on the way.

"We will have a nice day today," Marquez said. "And there will be low rain chances this afternoon. Friday’s rain chance is higher."

Rain chances are 10 percent Thursday with chances of a few isolated showers and jump to 60 percent on Friday.

Meanwhile, temperatures will rise into the upper 70s this afternoon with some 80s possible in the inland areas.

Once the cold front moves through the area late Saturday morning, the rain will be moving south of Tampa Bay and temperatures will drop.

By Saturday afternoon it will be windy and colder with temperatures in the 60s falling into the 50s during the day.
