An effort to educate Trinity residents on the growth the area expects to see in the next few years is underway.

On Saturday, Remax Advantage Realty held its first Trinity and Growth Development Day where local business showcased some of their services.

In the next two to three years, between 9,000 and 12,000 homes are expected to fill Trinity’s empty fields.

"We have massive amounts of open development areas that have been sold and major developments are moving in," said Remax Advantage Realtor, Rachel Moore. "With that being said, we are going to have a lot of businesses, restaurants and a lot of community centers that will be built."

Teri Levy has been living in Spring Hill for 14 years. Levy attended the event on Saturday in hopes of learning more about the growing community.

"I'm thinking about moving to this area, it just seems like a really up and coming place," Levy said.

According to county officials attending the event, the Trinity area is considered to be one of the fastest growing areas in the region.

"We have so much land available which is not available to the south of us," said Pasco County Commissioner, Jack Mariano. "We are the national growth curve of a lot of the Tampa Bay region."
