Another depression has opened in the Holiday Travel Park, the mobile home park where multiple holes opened late last year.
The latest hole - on Torch Street - measures about 1 by 2 feet and sits on private property, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. Two of the earlier holes grew to be 50 and 70 feet deep.
County officials maintain that the affected area off Torch Street was "indiscriminately filled with vegetation" when the park was developed. They said rain over the weekend could have contributed to the latest problem.
