A group of police officers and bystanders rescued a tiny kitten from a storm drain in Tampa.

For the past several days, officers have been trying to find the source of faint meowing that was coming from the storm drain.

On Monday night, some locals and police officers worked together to finally locate the kitten at the intersection of Cass Street and Nebraska Avenue.

Police said it was "love at first sight" when Officer Simmons held the kitten for the first time. The kitten now has a new home with Officer Simmons.
