An elderly Clearwater man not seen since Wednesday afternoon has been located.
Joseph G. Fernandez, 76, was located by the Florida Highway Patrol Thursday afternoon.
He was found driving on Interstate I-275 near 54th Avenue N. in St. Petersburg.
He is in good condition and is being transported to a local hospital for a routine medical evaluation.
Fernandez's family was concerned after he left a letter saying he had left town and was going on vacation.
The family says Fernandez has Alzheimer’s disease and that he takes medication for various medical issues.
