Troopers are searching for a hit-and-run driver in a crash that sent two other drivers to the hospital.

According to FHP, a white Honda CR-V fled the scene of a crash Wednesday at 9:19 p.m. on US 41 at 49th Avenue Drive West in Bradenton.

Troopers say the Honda CR-V was southbound on US 41 just north of 49th Ave Drive West.

According to FHP, the driver, described as a white male with gray hair, lost control of the vehicle and the front of the CR-V collided with the front right tire of a Lincoln Navigator, which was southbound in the left turn lane of US 41.

The CR-V then spun counter clockwise and collided with the left side of a Nissan Altima that was northbound on US 41 in the left turn lane, troopers say.

The driver of the Lincoln suffered serious injuries and was transported to Blake Medical Center. The Nissan driver was transported to Manatee Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

According to the drivers and witnesses, the white Honda CR-V has extensive crash damage and was last seen traveling southbound on US 41.
